Parque Nacional Cahuita has the largest system of coral reefs in Costa Rica, including 6 species of coral, a wide range of colourful tropical fish and an occasional encounter of a harmless reef shark or stingray.
We will pick you up in your hotel and take you to the village of Cahuita. Our captan and a guide will take you on a boat trip to the coral reef where you will be snorkelling for two hours in two different points of the National Park. After that we will take a little break at the beach where we will serve you tropical fruits.
Following the beach, we will take you on a guided hike.
The Cahuita National Park Tour is a wonderful hiking opportunity to explore the tropical rain forest found along the southernmost Caribbean shores of Costa Rica. This national park is part of the La Amistad Conservation Area, which is a World Heritage site that was founded in 1970 to protect the coral reef.
The park supports a unique wildlife biodiversity that is unmatched in Costa Rica. The well-maintained trails along the beach and within the rain forest make hiking in Cahuita’s National Park a leisurely experienceJ
You may see sloths, monkeys, iguanas, snakes, raccoons, Morphos butterflies, and more.
This hike will be approximately 1 hour. After the hike we will take you back to your hotel.
NOTE: Cahuita Park donation entrance fee of $2 per person is included in the price. You are welcome to donate more if you wish.
