Gandoca-Manzanillo Jungle Hike

This is a fun and adventurous 5 hour long tour led by our expert local tour guide who grew up in a jungle and who is able to recognize all kinds of plants and animals.

We will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to Manzanillo where you will meet your guide.

Gandoca-Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge is a rainforest and wetland habitat with a coral reef. At 23,348 total acres, this vast refuge begins 3 miles south of Puerto Viejo-until it runs into the Sixaola River at the Panamanian boarder. Here you will see monkeys, toucans, sloths, iguanas, snakes, caimans and a wide variety of birds.

Our guide knows this refuge like his own backyard, since he grew up in the jungle and the breadth and depth of his knowledge and experience are simply amazing. He knows ever plant, animal, and sign of every animal that you will encounter. It will be an experience you will never forget, fun and adventurous! The hike is approximately 4 hours.

At the end of the tour we will take you to a beautiful white sand beach with the crystal blue water.  We will serve you fruits and snacks there. After the tour, we will take you back to your hotel.
